The Light Crystal is a treasure that has the power to dispel illusions and dark magic. Its original owner was a witch who inhabited Final Fantasy, but Astos stole it from her. When Kevin Keene fell under his spell, Princess Lana, Kid Icarus, and Mega Man infiltrated Astos' castle to find the Light Crystal. Lana claimed it after a struggle, and used it to break the spell on Kevin and reveal Astos and his warriors as monsters.
